Mom's Obit from The Enterprise Archives



ROCHELLE MUSGROVE

After a seven-year battle with breast cancer, Rochelle Faye Billette Musgrove of Trout Lake passed away on Nov. 15, 2009, at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital.

Rochelle was born on Feb. 27, 1961, in Baxter Springs, Kan., to Daniel and Mary Plummer. She grew up in the Bingen-White Salmon area with her parents and eight siblings and graduated from Columbia High School in 1979. Following high school, Rochelle married Michael Billette and together they had four children, Jeremy, Joshua, Jared and Jessica. In 2001, Rochelle married Perry Musgrove and together they had a son, Jarin Musgrove.

Rochelle was an avid believer in giving back to her community and was a leader in the Boy Scouts of America, a member of Fire Districts 1 and 3, provided community outreach for H.U.G.S. Fair, taught CPR, First Aid and safety education classes. Rochelle was employed at Skyline Hospital for 18 years, working first with the Lifeline program and then her dream job of becoming an EMT.

Rochelle is survived by her brothers Charles Crowel, Daniel, David, Clayton, Thomas and Mitchell Plummer; sisters Kathryn Hayes and Elizabeth Burris; her husband Perry Musgrove; sons Jarin Musgrove, Jeremy (Sandy), Joshua (Dezeree), and Jared Billette; daughter Jessica (Steven) Neilson; and former husband Michael Billette. The lights of her life were her grandsons, Kraig, Atticus and Archie Billette.

Services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Gardner Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the White Salmon Cemetery on Snowden Road with a potluck gathering at the Trout Lake Grange at 3 p.m.
